This season has been incredible! I’ve been so busy with work and pregnancy I haven’t had a spare moment to keep up with my blog. Gah! As my clients and friends and family know, I am due to give birth to my husband and I’s first child in January of 2018. We are having a boy- and he was with me throughout my entire 2017 wedding season. I can one day tell him he was a guest and/or second shooter at fifteen weddings in utero. Back to the reason we’re here...
I’m taking it back to June for Becky and Kevin’s romantic Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center Wedding. Becky and Kevin are not only friends of mine, but two of the most fun people I know. They love to goof around with one another and are a blast to hang out with. When we chatted about me being their wedding photographer- I was ecstatic! Becky shared with me that the inspiration and atmosphere they were creating for their wedding was “romantic and whimsical!” I think the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, along with Becky and Kevin’s details, definitely pulled that atmosphere off. Becky shared that she “loved the colors of the room and the ceiling!” and that is “Almost reminds me of that scene from Beauty and the Beast.”
Without further adieu, scroll on for some images from Becky and Kevin’s incredible wedding day!
While I was hanging with the ladies, my fantastic and talented second shooter Shannon Sorensen was hanging with Kevin and the guys. She also scoured the venue to get fabulous detail shots of the decor, which you will see a little later on, made by the wonderful Regina Macomber of Brackish Water Arts.
Shannon was super awesome and captured a lot of the dancing photos you see here- as I got to turn into a guest for a couple hours myself and celebrate with Becky and Kevin! I gotta say, Becky danced so hard, she is the most hardcore dancing bride I've ever witnessed.
I ask my clients to share some wisdom with future couples, here is what Becky had to say...
What is your most valuable piece of advice you can share with future couples?
Laughter is the key to happiness.
What was your favorite part of the planning process?
Really just imagining what the big day will be like.
I hope you've enjoyed a little peek into Becky and Kevin's amazing wedding day! Thank you both for having Shannon and I there on your big day, congratulations on your new home, and keep on being hilarious and fun together!
Leave some love for Becky and Kevin below, and until next time...
