Savannah and Peter married in August of 2017 at Hartman’s Herb Farm in Barre, MA. It was a gorgeous day!
They met through mutual friends and after being good friends themselves for four years, they started dating.
Peter proposed to Savannah while they were hiking Mt. Wachusett. When they started their hike it was a nice warm day and when they reached the top it was cold and snowy. When Peter asked Savannah to marry him she said “Are you serious?!” and told him to get up out of the snow. Their adorable pup Daphne was with them for the proposal and was going super crazy with excitement. You might remember Daphne from their engagement photos, which can be seen here.
Hartman's Herb Farm was the perfect rustic setting for their gorgeous late summer wedding. They like that it was "All at one place, family owned and recommended!"
Check out some of their wedding day photos below!
While I was hanging with Savannah and her girls, my awesome second shooter Lyndsay Hannah was with Peter and his guys enjoying a game of cornhole outside!
The bride and her father danced to Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlise. Savannah said she wanted that to be the song they danced to her whole life.
At seven PM the reception flung into high gear as The Flock of Assholes put on one hell of a show for Savannah, Peter, and their friends and family!
Finally, I asked Savannah and Peter their advice for couples planning their wedding. They said "Do what YOU want!!! No matter how crazy it is."
Great advice! Savannah and Peter, I hope your first year of marriage has been incredible! I so enjoyed photographing your wedding and am honored to have been there.
Leave some love for Savannah and Peter in the comments below, and until next time!
