On June 24th, 2017 Caleigh and Andy got hitched at Salem Cross Inn located in West Brookfield, MA.
OKAY, I KNOW what you are thinking.
Yes, this wedding is from June of 2017. But! There's a reason it's so late getting up on my blog. I had my first baby and a million and one things going on! The blog kinda fell by the wayside…
Now that my son is five months old and it's back to business as usual- plus one!- I want to catch up on some blogging from last season. So! As I was saying... the first one up is Caleigh and Andy's AMAZING Salem Cross Inn Wedding. On to the photos!Read More
I photographed The R family back in May at the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain- I remember it being a gorgeous day for a session! I met them through our mutual friend, Becky - who's wedding was the last blog post before this one. Brenda was one of Becky's gorgeous bridesmaids!
Brenda was (and remains, along with myself) in a support group for women in Massachusetts going through IVF and Becky introduced the two of us. She invited me into the private group and it has been such a source of strength, information, and sisterhood. I wouldn't have been able to get through IVF half as well as I did without Brenda and the other women she introduced me to in this wonderful group!
Within a few months of joining this group, Brenda got her BFP (big fat positive) with twins, Addison and Jacob. Her and Josh were SO excited to be welcoming their babies into the world. Tragically Jacob passed away in utero a couple months before they were due to be born. The strength that Brenda and Josh have showed through this unthinkable tragedy has been immeasurable. You'll see the beautiful necklace in the photos below that Brenda wears honoring Jacob.
Though missing their beloved Jacob, their daughter Addison is a gorgeous and wonderful girl. She is now a little over one year old and is one of the cutest little girls I've had the pleasure of photographing. Check out a few photos from their family session inside!Read More
This season has been incredible! I’ve been so busy with work and pregnancy I haven’t had a spare moment to keep up with my blog. Gah! As my clients and friends and family know, I am due to give birth to my husband and I’s first child in January of 2018. We are having a boy- and he was with me throughout my entire 2017 wedding season. I can one day tell him he was a guest and/or second shooter at fifteen weddings in utero. Back to the reason we’re here...
I’m taking it back to June for Becky and Kevin’s romantic Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center Wedding. Becky and Kevin are not only friends of mine, but two of the most fun people I know. They love to goof around with one another and are a blast to hang out with. When we chatted about me being their wedding photographer- I was ecstatic! Becky shared with me that the inspiration and atmosphere they were creating for their wedding was “romantic and whimsical!” I think the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, along with Becky and Kevin’s details, definitely pulled that atmosphere off. Becky shared that she “loved the colors of the room and the ceiling!” and that is “Almost reminds me of that scene from Beauty and the Beast.”
Without further adieu, click on for some images from Becky and Kevin’s incredible wedding day!Read More
Amanda was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2017. A mom of three beautiful and sweet little boys, and a loving wife- her diagnosis was such an awful one to receive, especially at a young age. Her friends and family are rallying around her and she's fighting like the strong woman that she is! Before she went in for her surgery and subsequent treatments- she and her husband Val decided to renew their vows in a gorgeous backyard vow renewal ceremony surrounded by their children and closest friends and family.

Yesterday afternoon I was chatting with a bride during her consultation with me and we were discussing the changes that have happened to weddings since we were young, or even since our parents got married. We both agreed that the customization of weddings nowadays is the best part. Everything is so personalized. You don’t need a blueprint for your wedding- it’s all about you and your partner!Read More
